Gel
Gel batteries offer many significant advantages over
conventional lead acid batteries. Because there is no liquid they do not
leak or spill and can be installed in hard-to-reach locations. Gel
batteries are filled with a special gelled electrolyte and will not
sulfate like a liquid battery, and since there is no liquid, there is no
need to check fluid levels. The
gelled construction also eliminates vibration damage to plates.
